This role assures that the organization is in compliance with state licensing requirements and all applicable state and federal regulatory standards are continually met.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide great care.

  • Answer requests and determine how best to serve.

  • Provide physical support for participants with daily activities and personal hygiene; including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.

  • Turn and reposition bedridden persons.

  • Ensure appropriate diets by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.

  • Obtain a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about participant's condition, treatment plans, and suggested activities.

  • Measure and record food, liquid intake, urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.

  • Record vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate) as needed.

  • Examine participants to detect issues requiring medical care (including open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine).

  • Provide medication and nutritional supplement reminders and/or assistance (when applicable).

  • Note and communicate behavior and status changes (obtained through observation, complaints, and/or notice of physical symptoms) to nurses.

  • Stay up to date on professional training, facility policies and procedures.

    Skills:

  • Residential Service Agency experience preferred

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on nursing &/or in home care experience.

  • Proficiency in managing electronic health records and using systems

  • Familiarity with hospital operations and workflows

  • Proficient in specimen collection processing techniques

  • Experience with ventilators is a plus

  • Ability to administer injections accurately and safely

  • Strong patient care skills, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

  • Basic Health and Tuberculosis Screening

  • Participate in Quality Improvement Program

  • Requirement for job duties able to lift up to 50lbs

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Clean Background Check Required

  • Medicine Certified Preferred but not Required

  • Valid Driver's License and Insurance Preferred but not Required

  • Holds a Current Nursing Assistant (CNA or GNA) licensure for state of practice

  • Holds Current BLS - CPR certification (American Heart Association)

  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

  • Meeting recurring training requirements

    Hourly Rate:

  • Pay: $17.00 - $19.75 per hour​

  • Prescreening is mandatory.

  • Weekends as needed
