PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANTS

• Provide great care. Answer requests and determine how best to serve.

• Provide physical support for participants with daily activities and personal hygiene.

• Obtain a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about participant's condition, treatment plans, and suggested activities.

• Measure and record food, liquid intake, urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.

• Communicate possible issues requiring medical care (including open wounds, bruises and blood in urine).

• Provide reminders and/or assistance (when applicable).

• Note and communicate behavior and status changes (obtained through observation, complaints, and/or notice of physical symptoms) to nurses.

• Stay up to date on professional trainings, facility policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 3+ years work experience in home care

• Basic Health and Tuberculosis Screening

• Participate in Quality Improvement Program

• Able to lift up to 50lbs

• Current on CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.

• Ability to think and work independently with direction.

• Ability to communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

• High School graduate or equivalent

• Clean Background Check Required

Hourly Rate:

• Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour​

• Prescreening is mandatory.
